WordPress Developer – remote position at TechBoiL, a Beirut-based IT and web development agency (in IT since 1998, web since 2009).

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins
Develop and support WooCommerce/e-commerce sites for clients
Optimize site performance, security, and page speed
Work directly on client projects end-to-end, from build to launch

Requirements

2+ years hands-on WordPress development experience (PHP, MySQL, HTML/CSS/JS)
Proven experience with custom theme and plugin development - please include a portfolio, GitHub, or live site examples
WooCommerce experience is a plus
Able to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setup

Key Responsibilities

Manage VPS and cloud server infrastructure for client and internal projects
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
Manage Docker containers, Nginx/Apache configuration, and server security
Monitor uptime, performance, and handle incident response

Requirements

Proven experience with Linux server administration, Docker, and web server configuration (Nginx/Apache)
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling and scripting (Bash and/or Python)
Please include references or examples of real infrastructure/deployment work you've done
Comfortable working and communicating remotely

Track learner progress and adapt sessions to skill level

Requirements

Proven prior experience training or teaching in an IT subject area
Strong communication skills, comfortable presenting to groups remotely
Relevant IT certifications (CompTIA, Cisco, or similar) are a plus
Able to deliver structured, professional sessions on a remote schedule

Strong communication skills, comfortable presenting to groups remotely
Able to break down technical concepts for learners at different levels
Able to deliver structured, professional sessions on a remote schedule
